Quiz night got off to a slow start last night with a lower than usual turn out.
3 Teams fighting for the coveted first prize.
The AMIGO’s and the FOKKER’s battling it out with a tie breaker which seen the FOKKER’S winning the ” rumble in the jungle”.
Quiz master Jock McDay showing his Q.M. skills with translation of some challenging English to English & French to English translations and showing that no one was going to pull the Capote Anglaise over his eyes ! stood firm against an appeal by the Fokker’s of hard play over a pair of jeans. Well done Jock.
The BAR BOY’s lethargic after their Christmas & New Year activities were never really in the running.
Hoping for a better turn out next week.
